On Tuesday December 6, 2011 the University Kiwanis Club sponsored an evening of giving with the Salvation Army's "Meals on Wheels" program. Some 350 bags of gifts and food items were assembled by Kiwanis Club members along with members of our sponsored KEY Clubs and UAA CKI members. In about 1 and 1/2 hours the group worked the assembly line and filled all the bags to then be delivered by the Salvation Army to local people served by the Meals on Wheels program.
